Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Senior Clinical Admin Nurse RN for Emerging CARE, remote within the United States. You will educate and guide members, address health questions, and manage complex cases with clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license (compact).
• 4+ years of acute nursing experience as an RN.
• 2+ years of case management experience.
• Med-surg, critical care or ER experience.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Outlook).
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Address medical/health questions for members in a customer service setting.
• Own issues through to resolution with timely follow-up.
• Provide status on prior authorizations or determinations.
• Refer members to internal specialists or programs as needed.
• Support members and families in complex medical situations.
• Use nursing judgment across various real-time scenarios.
• Document interactions across databases during calls and follow-up.
• Lead development of new programs to improve performance.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to improve service model.
• Assist with policies and procedures for the department.
