SpaceXSI is seeking a Senior Model Engineer for the RL Training Framework in Palo Alto, CA. You will design and optimize the RL training stack, implement scalable experiments, and collaborate across teams to advance large-scale model training.

You should have strong production code experience in Python/C++/Rust and familiarity with PyTorch, JAX, or RL methods. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Production-quality code experience in Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust or C++.
• Experience training large models (1B+ parameters) at scale.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement the systems backing all RL workloads at SpaceXSI, from small scale ablations to production training runs
• Profile, debug, and optimize end-to-end training performance
• Improve scalability and observability of the RL stack
