Job summary

COMPA Industries is seeking a Senior Project Risk Manager to lead the ALS-U risk program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, CA. You will manage risk, develop integrated cost/schedule analyses, and provide decision-ready information to executives and DOE reviewers.

You will chair risk workshops, maintain risk registers, and coordinate with project controls, technical leads, and management to assure readiness for baseline changes and reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least eight years of progressive risk-management experience.
  • Experience leading risk management for large, technically complex projects or facilities.
  • Ability to perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis and defend results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and administer the project risk-management program and governance cadence.
  • Maintain risk registers, ownership, triggers, mitigation actions, and retirement criteria.
  • Facilitate risk workshops, reviews, and lessons-learned activities.
  • Develop cost and schedule risk analyses and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Coordinate risk with Project Controls and Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Prepare monthly risk reports and executive briefings.
