Capital One seeks a Senior Risk Manager in Enterprise Risk Management to lead cross-functional risk initiatives and standardize processes across lines of business.

You will partner with technology, product, and data teams to implement updates, design metrics, and deliver executive risk reporting with real-time visibility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• At least 3 years of Financial Services Risk Management experience.
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 7 years of experience supporting internal business clients.

Senior Risk Manager - Enterprise Risk Management

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify and standardize risk processes
• Leverage data analysis and operational insights to identify core problems and formulate effective solutions
• Collaborate with 1st Line and 2nd Line stakeholders to align strategies and ensure consistent execution across business lines
• Partner with technology, product, and data teams to implement required system and process updates
• Design and implement risk metrics to measure framework effectiveness and process health
• Lead training across lines of defense to ensure consistent adoption and execution
• Establish and manage guidance to ensure consistent execution across business lines
• Design and manage reporting that provide real-time visibility into process health for leadership
• Provide subject matter expertise on risk processes when representing ERM in projects and other meetings
• Deliver reporting and executive-level presentations that provide leadership with real-time risk visibility
• Collaborate effectively across multiple organizations such as Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Business Risk Offices, Operational Risk Sub-Steward organizations, Information Technology, Basel Program, Internal Audit, Regulator Relations, etc. to achieve objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or military experience
• At least 3 year of Financial Services Risk Management Experience
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience
• At least 7 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
• 7+ years of Financial Services risk management experience
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
• Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr. Risk Manager

McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr. Risk Manager

Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr. Risk Manager

Riverwoods, IL: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr. Risk Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
