Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Risk Data Product Manager to lead the Nexus Risk Data Products team in shaping data strategy for Enterprise Risk. You will manage PMs and data analysts, drive discovery, break down epics, write acceptance criteria, and oversee releases to deliver trusted, AI-ready data products.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners, evaluate new approaches, and guide prioritization while ensuring robust data solutions across risk domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or Business/Marketing is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of Product Management experience also qualifies.
• Preferred: translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers and data analysts.
• Collaborate with partners to research, ideate, and deliver reusable data products.
• Apply discovery techniques to identify internal customer pain points.
• Break down epics into features and user stories.
• Write acceptance criteria and lead refinement with engineering.
• Evaluate new technical approaches to solve customer needs.
• Drive day-to-day prioritization of work and oversee releases.
• Research and troubleshoot data-related issues from user communities.
• Conduct data analysis to drive insights for new features.
