Job summary

Pathward seeks an experienced risk and control professional to support risk and control consultation on new, existing and/or changed processes, identifying and monitoring operational and strategic risks and related indicators.

You will help align policies with program standards, implement controls, and act as a liaison for audit requests, contributing to governance and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand and align policies, standards, and procedures with guidelines; drive corrective action.
• Identify and monitor operational and strategic risks and key risk indicators.
• Identify and implement controls to mitigate risks supporting risk management.
• Serve as liaison for internal/external audit requests.
• Translate control deficiencies into actionable plans.
• Enhance governance practices in line with risk and compliance frameworks.
• Perform testing of the 1LOD testing program.
• Monitor and escalate open issues to senior management.
• Stay current on regulatory policy and ensure process compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
