Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance professional to support Wealth Management Solutions. The role focuses on regulatory reporting, controls, committee governance, and risk program coordination across the business lines in Minneapolis, MN, and Charlotte, NC.

The candidate will partner with Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, and business leaders to identify and mitigate risk. Required 5+ years of financial services experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services risk management, controls, compliance, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support governance, risk, and control routines to mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and compliance risk.
• Prepare and maintain regulatory reporting, control documentation, dashboards, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate governance meetings, risk events, and annual risk assessments; support audit responses and regulatory inquiries.
