Job summary

Morgan Stanley in New York seeks a Risk Analyst to join the Risk Analysis and Reporting team within Firm Risk. You will support end-to-end risk reporting, collaborate across functions, and help design infrastructure for risk data and reporting tools.

Strong analytical skills and project management are essential. The role requires a background in economics/finance/statistics or programming languages, with a focus on accurate, timely reporting and communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 3 years of work experience in finance/accounting/risk management/technology.
• Risk management experience in market, credit risk and/or liquidity risk preferred.
• Experience with project or process management.
• Higher degrees or other qualifications related to any of the above areas will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end risk reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver efficient committee reporting processes.
• Participate in projects for innovative solutions to develop risk reporting capabilities and solve risk data problems to enhance the Firm's risk management capabilities, including developing interactive visualization tooling.
• Design and implement risk infrastructure projects to enhance data management and risk reporting tooling capabilities.
• Contribute to strategic Firm Risk Management communication efforts by developing comprehensive risk reporting capabilities.
• Develop presentation materials for senior management committees.
