Job summary

D&G Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking a risk analysis professional to assess and mitigate CBRNE threats to national security. The role involves developing methodologies, coordinating quality assurance, and producing analytical products for government stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience in risk or intelligence analysis, with strong communication and collaboration skills. On-site DHS and related work are central to the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in risk analysis, intelligence analysis, national security, or related field.
  • Experience developing analytical methodologies and conducting assessments that communicate and mitigate risk.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality analytical products.
  • Ability to work effectively within collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments using established and emerging methodologies to evaluate threats posed by weapons of mass destruction.
  • Develop, document, and refine analytical methodologies while recommending process improvements that strengthen risk assessment capabilities.
  • Conduct background research and due diligence using open-source and classified information.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports and analytical products.
  • Coordinate the review, quality assurance, and distribution of risk analysis products.
  • Develop standard operating procedures, case summaries, talking points, action memoranda, and other written products supporting CBRNE leadership.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to support mission objectives.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

What We Are Looking For
Required
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting the DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), or other Department of Homeland Security organizations.
  • Experience using Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with classified information and intelligence-based analytical products.
  • Familiarity with CBRNE threat analysis, homeland security, or national security risk assessment.
Clearance and Eligibility
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
Location
  • Currently requires onsite support a minimum of two days per pay period (every two weeks) at the DHS Policy Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) office located on the St. Elizabeths Campus in Washington, DC.
  • This requirement may transition to full-time onsite based on government needs.
