Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Sr. Title Agent for an onsite role in Hereford, Texas. The candidate should be a self-starter with at least five years of right-of-way title research experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

The role requires handling title research tasks, compiling chains of title, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure accurate project deliverables. Experience with GIS tools and databases is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in right-of-way title research.
• Capable of working unsupervised in a variety of roles.
• Specialized knowledge in areas like Indian land title, government title, mortgages, liens, etc., if working in a limited area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Pulling tax cards from courthouses and locating tax cards online to determine ownership.
• Locating source deeds and vesting deeds and comparing them to tax cards for discrepancies.
• Performing onsite and/or online research for Vesting and/or Marketable Title.
• Preparing Chain of Title and Limited Title Certificates.
• Assembling title files according to project protocols.
• Posting and archiving title files according to project procedures.
• Communicating with supervisor about how work impacts project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Informing supervisor about obstacles and developing strategies to achieve client objectives.
• Demonstrating professionalism and integrity with clients and colleagues.
• Navigating multiple client databases.
• Using Microsoft Office suite and databases effectively.
• Experience with geoAMPS or Pandell Projects and ESRI GIS software is preferred.
