Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on Rheumatology, including lupus, to advance scientific engagement with KMEs and healthcare professionals across the United States.

The role is territory-based with remote work and extensive travel (60%+). Candidates should hold an advanced clinical or scientific degree and have Rheumatology MSL experience, strong communication, and technology proficiency.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree required; NP/PA acceptable; MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP preferred.
• 3+ years Rheumatology MSL experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage KMEs and HCPs.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% and reside in LA, TN, IN, OH, or MI.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic, long-term relationships with KMEs and healthcare professionals.
• Serve as a credible scientific partner and respond to medical inquiries.
• Support US Medical strategy initiatives and capture medical insights using Veeva.
• Operate in a territory-based, remote setup with significant travel.
