Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior RHEL Security Engineer to support a global technology services and consulting firm delivering IT modernization and cybersecurity. This onsite role requires DISA STIG excellence, RHEL administration, Bash scripting, and cloud/Hyper-V expertise.

You will work with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant operations across enterprise servers in Hyper-V and Azure.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance REQUIRED*
• 6-15 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Hands-on with RHEL and DISA STIG implementation/compliance
• Experience with web servers, app servers, containerized apps, and databases in enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Configure, validate, and maintain enterprise systems per DISA STIGs
• Administer and support applications in RHEL environments
• Develop and troubleshoot Bash scripts for automation
• Utilize SteelCloud ConfigOS for STIG compliance
• Manage servers in Hyper-V and Azure environments
• Collaborate with teams to ensure secure, compliant operations
