Job summary

OffWorld in Pasadena is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to advance testing methods and equipment for our modular robotic systems. You will design, develop, and implement RF test solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on high-power antenna projects and RF measurement pipelines.

Proficiency in MATLAB and leading RF tools, plus strong technical writing and self-motivation, are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • MSc or higher in Electrical Engineering (PhD preferred).
  • 7+ years of professional RF engineering experience.
  • Phased array antenna system modeling, design analysis and cross‑disciplinary teamwork.
  • General knowledge of circuit components in phased array systems.
  • Detailed passive components design (power splitters/combiners, impedance transformers).
  • Experience with RF engineering concepts, methodologies and applications.
  • Proficiency with Keysight ADS, Genesys, CST, HFSS and Icepack.
  • MATLAB for processing measured and simulated results.
  • Experience with lab equipment: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters.
  • Strong technical writing and proactive learning attitude.
