Job summary

Blue Origin in Reston, Virginia is seeking a systems engineer for RF hardware. You will develop requirements for RF hardware, support V&V planning, and maintain ICDs for RF systems across Satcom and radar applications.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and compliance with engineering processes while collaborating with integration and test teams to enable flight-proven spacecraft hardware.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in electrical/computer engineering, etc.
• Experience with RF hardware and antennas
• Experience with RF comms or RADAR systems
• 5+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering practices
• Experience with requirements management software (JAMA preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of RF hardware requirements
• Assist in V&V plan development for RF hardware
• Maintain ICDs for RF hardware
• Coordinate development lifecycle artifacts for PDR/CDR
• Support safety artifacts like FHAs, FTAs,FMECAs
• Coordinate reliability analysis for RF hardware
• Coordinate with test teams to ensure facilities meet requirements
