Job summary

3dB Labs, Inc. is seeking an RF Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize RF systems for wireless, radar, and satellite applications. The role blends theory-based algorithm development with practical high-performance processing solutions.

You will perform RF design, simulation, testing, and integration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, reliable systems. US citizenship is required for all positions.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field; PhD is a plus.
• Proven experience in RF system design, simulation, and testing.
• Familiarity with SCEPTRE software a plus.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, VNA).
• Knowledge of EM theory, antenna design, and RF propagation.

Responsibilities

• RF System Design: Design, develop, and analyze RF systems and components for various applications.
• Simulation and Modeling: Use software tools to model and optimize RF systems.
• Component Selection: Select amplifiers, filters, antennas, and transceivers.
• Testing and Measurement: Plan and conduct RF testing and characterization.
• Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate RF systems into larger products.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve RF issues in lab or field.
• Prototype Development: Assist in development of prototypes and POC systems.
