Job summary

CesiumAstro in Westminster, MD is seeking a Senior PCB Designer II (RF) to perform RF/mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer for aerospace applications, collaborating with engineers to deliver high-frequency boards.

You will own layouts with 30 GHz RF on dense boards, manage libraries, review schematics/footprints, and contribute to templates, BOMs, and release packages while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar.
• 7 years of experience as a PCB Designer.
• Strong experience with Altium Designer.
• High-frequency RF PCB layout, shielding and impedance matching.
• Experience with aerospace IPC Class 3 designs.
• Experience with blind vias and microvias.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Proficient with MS Teams, Confluence, Jira.
• Ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex RF and mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• Own intricate RF/high-density layouts with 30 GHz on same board.
• Generate and revise drawings and release packages.
• Manage electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise.
• Generate and review schematic symbols and footprints.
• Maintain templates for schematics, layouts, BOMs.
