Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, Virginia is seeking an Advanced RF Electronics Engineer (Senior Project Leader - Payload Systems Engineer - RF) to shape customer investments in cutting edge radio frequency collection technologies. Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or another technical discipline.
• 12 years of progressively responsible engineering/scientific experience.
• Experience with signal processing, RF technologies or SIGINT systems.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with customers and peers.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~5–10% and security clearance TS/SBI/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering studies analyzing RF collection system designs and trade-offs.
• Investigate new technologies and mature them for implementation in NSST programs.
• Prototype, test, and model to speed maturation and transitions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the NSSpace enterprise on implementation paths.
• Report findings to senior government officials and advise on future activities.
