Job summary

Ardent Concepts, an Amphenol company, is seeking a Senior RF Development Engineer to lead the development of RF and passive components in Hampton, NH. The role covers concept to production, requiring hands-on design, simulation, testing, and collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

You will own projects end-to-end, leveraging VNAs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipment while mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvements in RF performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, MS/PhD preferred.
• 5+ years in RF/microwave passive components or interconnect.
• Hands-on design, testing, and production experience.
• Strong RF fundamentals: transmission lines, impedance matching, S-parameters.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF and passive-component development from concept through production.
• Translate system requirements into component architectures and designs.
• Perform RF/microwave modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Design, build, test, and evaluate prototypes and measurement hardware.
• Develop RF characterization and validation using VNAs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to drive projects.
