Job summary

Sechan Electronics, Inc. is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead design, analysis, and testing of RF systems for a range of DoD products. You will develop test plans, verify performance, and work across teams to move designs from prototype through production.

Responsibilities include RF/antenna design, ASIC/embedded considerations, and collaboration with program management, quality, and contracts to ensure top-tier reliability and compliance with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as an RF engineer with RF design experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Office environment: sit/stand up to 9 hours, use basic office tools.
• Hours: 1st Shift with additional hours as needed; occasional off-shift hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and fixtures for RF designs.
• Generate and implement improvements in RF test throughput and product design.
• Provide electronic design, development, and troubleshooting support for test systems on the production floor.
• Work cross-functionally across the organization (program management, procurement, operations, etc).
• Interface with customers and suppliers to support technical issues.
• Research and apply RF and electrical engineering principles to solve problems.
• Support full program life cycles (concept, prototype, production, sustainment).
• Participate in design processes using design models (CMMI, Six Sigma for Design).
• Create, review, approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and RFVs.
• Support systems, software, and mechanical engineering efforts.
• Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties to fulfill organizational mission.
