Job summary

Impulsespace is looking for a Staff RF Embedded Software Engineer in Redondo Beach, CA, to own the design, testing, and delivery of RF software systems for space missions. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in embedded C/C++ coding and a strong background in RF systems.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to implement RF software requirements and developing RF digital signal processing algorithms. The position offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $210,000 yearly, plus benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in developing software for wireless systems in critical applications.
• 8+ years writing embedded C/C++ code.
• Ability to work with RF equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement RF software communications requirements.
• Develop algorithms for RF digital signal processing.
• Design and optimize RF system control algorithms.
