Job summary

RGNext seeks an Electronics Technician on Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, to provide transmitter operations and maintenance for Ka-Band and C-Band radar systems, supporting DoD mission readiness.

You will diagnose and repair hardware, assist engineers on I&M projects, assemble subassemblies, and install new equipment while maintaining calibration data. This is an unaccompanied assignment with housing and meals provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent; or military training or experience.
• Eight or more years in electronics technician roles including high voltage and RF transmission.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Ability to climb up to 50 feet.
• Must obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship).
• Must relocate to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands; must obtain US passport.
• Occasional non-duty hours or weekend support as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide transmitter operations and maintenance for Ka-Band and C-Band radar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair various hardware components.
• Support transmitter operations, daily warm-ups, satellite tracks, and tests.
• Perform routine maintenance and run diagnostic software.
• Assist engineers on I&M projects involving receivers, transmitters, servos, and antennas.
• Assemble, wire, and bench test components and subassemblies.
• Install new equipment and advise on configuration/performance.
• Maintain calibration data, fixtures, and assemblies using COTS parts.
• Climb and work at moderate heights; weekend coverage as needed.
