Job summary

L3Harris in San Diego, CA seeks a Sr. Specialist, Electrical Engineering, RF Design Engineer with strong RF/microwave expertise for tracking, telemetry, and command products used in airborne and space applications.

Candidates will design, integrate, and test RF hardware, circuits, and subsystems while mentoring early-career engineers. Required are a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with substantial RF experience, the ability to obtain a secret DoD clearance, and strong knowledge of modulation

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of RF/microwave engineering and communication theory.
• Experience with design verification testing of RF hardware.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (secret level minimum).

Responsibilities

• Lead RF/microwave product development including circuit card and subsystem design.
• Perform simulations and lead design reviews.
• Troubleshoot RF/microwave systems and validate performance.
