Job summary

ASD in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to drive full life-cycle product development from concept through field support, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing and Program Management.

You will focus on RF/Analog circuit design, prototyping, testing, and modeling of mixed-signal and EO components, applying industry tools and methods. U.S. Citizenship and interim Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years electronics design experience, or MS with 3+ years.
• RF/Analog circuit design experience, including schematic capture through test and integration.
• Hands-on prototyping and debug experience testing complex RF subsystems (amplifiers, mixers, ADCs, DACs, PLLs).
• Translate system performance and operational specs into hardware requirements, design, and test specs.
• Familiarity with DOORS, ClearCase, and ClearQuest for documentation control.
• US Citizenship and Interim Secret clearance prior to starting, with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life-cycle product development from concept to field support.
• Work with integrated product teams spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
• Research, design, and development of RF/Analog and EO components; modeling and test.
