Responsibilities

  • Lead proactive WIP management with regular review cycles to drive timely billing.
  • Meet with Partners to address WIP concerns and streamline billing pathways.
  • Use reporting to identify risks from WIP growth, billing delays, or collections.
  • Challenge Partners to meet billing expectations and remove barriers to WIP.
  • Collaborate with Billing Coordinators to maintain WIP hygiene across offices.
  • Support Revenue Operations leadership with training on WIP review methods.
  • Coordinate with Billing Operations, eBilling and Pricing on client terms and budgets.
  • Partner with Collections to align WIP, billing, and collection strategies.
  • Handle client-specific projects as instructed by Finance leadership.
  • Resolve issues related to Departing Partners and Attorney designations as escalated.
  • Provide insights on WIP trends and new risks to Revenue Operations.
  • Support enterprise initiatives to improve revenue cycle efficiency.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Specialist into a global role to join our team and play a central role in strengthening financial performance through exceptional WIP and lockup management and Partner support. This role is critical to improving working capital, deepening Partner engagement, and ensuring timely, accurate revenue conversion across global departments.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading proactive WIP management efforts, ensuring regular review cycles, early identification of aging or stagnant WIP, and consistent follow‑through to drive timely billing.
  • Meeting regularly with Partners to address WIP concerns, streamline billing pathways, and resolve issues impacting lockup performance.
  • Using established reporting to identify, prioritize, and elevate financial risks linked to WIP growth, billing delays, or collection challenges.
  • Challenging Partners and teams to meet billing expectations and supporting them in removing barriers to efficient WIP conversion.
  • Working closely with Billing Coordinators to create strong escalation channels and uphold high standards of WIP hygiene across all offices.
  • Help ensure Revenue Operations Managers train their teams to identify and act on best‑practice WIP review methods, including validation, narrative quality, write‑off assessment, and billing readiness.
  • Collaborating with Billing Operations, eBilling and Pricing Specialists to ensure client terms, including pricing arrangements and budgets, support efficient WIP conversion.
  • Partnering with Collections leadership to align WIP, billing, and collection strategies for holistic lockup reduction.
  • Handling / Running client specific/special projects as instructed by Finance / Department leadership.
  • Resolving issues relating to Departing Partners & Attorney designations as escalated by Billing Operations / Department leadership.
  • Resolving escalated issues/risks in respect of annual rate reviews.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to Revenue Operations leadership as WIP trends emerge or new risks surface.
  • Supporting wider firm initiatives that enhance revenue cycle efficiency, financial hygiene, and Partner engagement.
