Job summary
Cotiviti in the United States is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist to join the Yield Management Division. You will handle complex daily functions including payments, postings, client issues, and audits, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
As a subject matter expert, you will mentor teammates, develop onboarding materials with the Team Lead, and drive process improvements to maximize revenue and efficiency across systems.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related experience and/or Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or five (5) years relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years of financial and/or business-related experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel required; Access strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of revenue cycle practices.
- Healthcare experience a plus.
- Excellent organizational ability required to handle multiple priorities.
- Understands Cotiviti Core Values, Strategic Pillars, and Operations Disciplines to achieve successful performance.
Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter expert in all Revenue Cycle knowledge.
- Collaborate with Team Lead to develop onboarding materials and ensure effective training of Specialists.
- Ensure processes are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with policies.
- Prepare reports detailing quality of departmental actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and maximize revenue or margins.
- Resolve errors and handle low-risk exceptions.
- Propose solutions and implement plans with or without team support.
- Serve as a key contact for audits and client inquiries; resolve issues to completion.
