Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, National Association seeks a Sr Retirement Plan Consultant for Institutional Services. You will manage a national/international client base, provide plan design and compliance guidance, and stay current on regulatory issues. Strong ERP/ERP knowledge and ASPPA credentials are required.

You will advocate FTIS mission, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure accurate documentation and billing. Travel to client sites may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in finance or business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ten years of relevant ERISA retirement plan experience.
  • ASPPA certification including QKA and QKC required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and retain assigned retirement plan book of business locally and nationally.
  • Coordinate employee education campaigns to promote plan participation and utilization.
  • Cross-sell additional advisory and investment management opportunities with existing clients.
  • Represent the Bank in professional groups to develop contacts and opportunities.
  • Explain FTIS RPAS benefits and conduct benchmarking and fund lineup recommendations.
  • Document client interactions and maintain CRM records.
  • Lead or participate in special projects to improve FTIS products and services.
  • Ensure timely annual fiduciary training for plan committee members.
