Job summary

Covenant Health in Knoxville seeks a Benefits Specialist to manage retirement program data, compliance, and plan communications. The role works with the Benefits Team to ensure accurate participant data, deductions, and reporting for multiple Covenant retirement plans.

The position requires a BS in management, business, or HR and at least five years of HR/retirement benefits experience, with familiarity in related accounting and working with Fidelity and HRIS systems. Full-time day shift.

Qualifications

• BS in management, business, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in HR, pension/retirement benefits and familiarity with related accounting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy for Covenant Retirement Plans in HRIS.
• Coordinate retirement plan contributions and transfers to Fidelity.
• Lead Benefits Associates and provide guidance on day-to-day tasks and projects.
• Assist auditors with annual audits of Covenant Health retirement plans and related benefit programs.
• Facilitate annual Form 5500 tax filing preparation for retirement and health and welfare plans.
