Renown Health seeks a Clinical Respiratory Therapist to perform respiratory care procedures per protocol for patients from newborn to geriatric in Reno, NV. The role focuses on critical care and general units with strict adherence to protocols and documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a Nevada Respiratory Care Practitioner License, an NBRC RRT credential, and BLS; ACLS/PALS training within 6 months. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• 2 years of full-time Respiratory Care experience in a critical care setting.
• State of Nevada Respiratory Care Practitioner License required at time of hire.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required at time of hire.
• BLS certification required at time of hire; ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and physician orders.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory care for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation; stay current with clinical practices.
