Job summary

Providence Tarzana Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer and chart respiratory care under the supervision of the medical director.

Graduate of an RT program; California RCP license required on hire; BLS at hire; ACLS/PALS within 90 days; California Fire/Safety Card within 30 days. Neonatal experience is preferred and supported by Providence’s comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program for Respiratory Therapists.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License required at hire.
• BLS with American Heart Association at hire; ACLS and PALS within 90 days.
• Fire and Life Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years neonatal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and chart all aspects of respiratory therapy.
• Work under supervision of the medical director.
• Provide patient care in accordance with licensure and clinical guidelines.

Reporting to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services and Clinical Coordinator of the Respiratory Therapy department, this position is responsible for administering and charting all aspects of respiratory therapy depicted by the respiratory care practitioner license under the supervision of the medical director.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a program for Respiratory Therapists.

• Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.

• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.

• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years Neonatal experience.

Pay Range: $52.55 - $78.89
