Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or Health Sciences, or NBRC credentials.
• Five years of acute care experience.
• One year of critical care experience.
• Licenses and certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial punctures and blood gas sampling.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation.
• Maintain airways and provide emergency respiratory care.
• Adhere to infection control and isolation procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive patient reports for shift handoffs.
• Assess and optimize oxygen therapy using pulse oximetry.
• Consult with physicians on prescribed therapy changes.
