Job Description

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Senior Resource Geologist to join our Mining & Energy team. While preference will be given to candidates based in, or willing to work from Reno, Nevada, we encourage qualified applicants in Denver, Colorado and Tucson, Arizona to apply.

This role supports precious metal, base metal, and aggregate projects throughout North and South America and offers the opportunity to work alongside internationally recognized geologists and engineers on a wide range of exploration, development, and operating mining projects. Based in Reno, Nevada, this position will collaborate closely with technical teams across North America while contributing to complex and impactful mining initiatives.

The Senior Resource Geologist will be responsible for developing and validating geological and block models, preparing mineral resource estimates, and supporting technical reporting in accordance with industry standards, including NI 43-101 and SK-1300. The role involves evaluating geological, drilling, sampling, and assay data; performing QA/QC reviews and model reconciliation; and partnering with geology, mine planning, operations, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose resource models that support critical business decisions throughout the life of a mine.
