Job summary

Apple Door Systems in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an experienced Residential Garage Door Technician to install, maintain, and repair our full line of residential doors and related products, ensuring customer satisfaction on every job. You will work out of our Chesapeake location, adhere to safety standards, keep accurate service records, and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the garage door industry.
• Valid Driver’s License and MVR acceptable for insurance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install products per manufacturer specifications and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory on company vehicle and understand parts usage.
• Basic diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical & electrical failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on products.
• Keep proper documentation of services performed, amounts owed/paid, outstanding items for job completion.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment at warehouse and job sites.
