Sunday Building Co. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Residential Construction Designer to lead complex, high-end remodeling projects from concept through construction handoff.

You serve as the client’s primary designer, developing floor plans, managing budgets, and coordinating with engineers and trade partners. The role emphasizes design for additions, multi-room renovations, and whole-home transformations.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of residential design experience preferred, with remodeling experience.
• Ability to independently own and manage client-facing residential design projects.
• Experience with additions, whole-home renovations, and major floor plan reconfigurations.
• Strong budgeting skills and ability to lead scope-versus-cost conversations.

Responsabilidades

• Own projects end to end from signed design agreement to field handoff.
• Lead kickoff site walks, measurements, and existing-conditions documentation.
• Develop floor plan options, design concepts, and complete selection packages.
• Lead concept presentations, plan reviews, and selections meetings independently.
• Maintain design authority after handoff and resolve field questions.
