Job summary
Charm City Construction & Home Repair is seeking an experienced, dependable construction professional to join our residential team. You will perform hands-on work across multiple trades and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years of residential construction experience, strong carpentry, roofing, tile, drywall, and decking skills, with a safe, organized site and clear communication with homeowners.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of residential construction experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in carpentry, roofing, tile, drywall, decks or multiple construction trades.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Able to safely lift materials and perform physical construction work.
- Must be dependable, punctual and take pride in your work.
- Experience working in occupied homes is a plus.
- Reading basic plans/drawings.
Responsibilities
- Work independently without constant supervision.
- Take ownership of a project and see it through.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and our team.
- Read and understand basic construction plans.
- Measure accurately and work with hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot problems in the field.
- Work well with other trades and crew members.
- Help train less-experienced workers.
- Take a leadership role when needed.
