Job summary

The role emphasizes applying reservoir engineering principles, development planning, EOR strategies, and collaboration with geoscience, drilling, facilities, and operations to optimize production, reserves, and field economics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience with field operations.
• Experience on international conventional assets; some exposure to unconventional.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated petroleum engineering support across international conventional assets, with exposure to unconventional projects on a limited basis.
• Apply reservoir engineering and management principles to optimize production and recovery across operated and non-operated assets.
• Evaluate greenfield and brownfield fields and provide fit to purpose development analysis.
• Evaluate and recommend oil and gas reservoir exploitation strategies including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and monitor their application and performance.
• Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, facilities, production and operations teams to ensure integrated subsurface solutions and field-level decision-making.
• Travel internationally on an as-needed basis to interact with operations teams primarily in South America and the Middle East.
