Job summary

Permian Resources Corporation in Midland, Texas seeks a Sr. Reserves Analyst to provide corporate reserves support and reservoir engineering input.

You will assist in preparing and consolidating reserves reports for management, auditors, and regulators, while maintaining data integrity across assets. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in oil & gas reserves, proficiency in ARIES, Excel, and SQL, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years oil and gas experience in a corporate reserves function
• Proficiency in ARIES; familiarity with Microsoft Access/SQL
• Strong Excel and database management skills
• Familiarity with SEC reserves reporting rules and economic evaluation techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Prefer Spotfire, AI and/or Databricks experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, review, and consolidation of corporate reserves reports for management, auditors, and regulators
• Maintain reserves databases and ensure data accuracy across assets
• Support annual/quarterly reserves estimation with engineers (decline curves, economic assumptions)
• Generate reserves reports, presentations, and sensitivity analyses for executives and investors
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting, SPE-PRMS standards, and internal reserves policies
• Assist in preparing reserves disclosures for filings (10-K, 10-Q)
• Manage Aries-based reserves software and data integration with corporate databases
• Develop and improve reserves workflows, automation, and reporting tools
• Coordinate with Asset Teams, Finance, and Planning to align reserves with forecasts
• Mentor junior reserves staff on Aries workflows and data integrity
