The candidate will support projects, design experiments, manage routine lab tasks, document results, and contribute to manuscripts and grants, while maintaining compliance and training junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related science.
• 4–6 years of relevant research laboratory experience.
• Solid understanding of lab techniques, equipment, and safety.
• Ability to organize and carry out lab techniques independently and in a team.
• Experience with basic data analysis.
• Bioinformatics considered a plus.
• Demonstrated writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support lab member projects via method development, conduction of experiments, data analysis and interpretation.
• Design and complete experiments geared towards research objectives of the lab.
• Assist in routine laboratory operations including ordering, regulatory documentation/compliance (chemical safety, biosafety, IACUC and IRBs), personnel training, equipment/reagent management and maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records and data storage; present findings in meetings.
• Contribute to manuscript and grant writing; present at lab meetings.
