Job summary

The Senior Research Support Specialist will join the Urology Research Foundation in Syracuse, NY. The candidate should be motivated, display independence, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with clinicians, research associates, students, and faculty.

The duties include maintaining an accurate lab notebook, reporting results to the Principal Investigator, and applying strong critical thinking and organizational skills in a collaborative lab environment.

Qualifications

• MSc in biological science, life sciences, or relevant field.
• At least 1 year of research experience following MSc.
• Excellent communication with clinicians, researchers, students, and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments focusing on extracellular signaling, proteomic and cell-based approaches, imaging techniques.
• Learn new techniques to advance project goals and report results with basic statistics.
• Drive projects to successful completion and stay updated with current literature and advancements.
• Coordinate lab members and faculty within the Department.
