Job summary

Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs invites exceptional candidates to apply for the position of Senior Research Specialist, starting on or around July 1, 2027. This role, based at Princeton University, will support faculty member Crystal Yang, in all aspects of research.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible, 1-year term position, with a possibility of extension. It will follow a hybrid schedule based out of Princeton, NJ, and involve assembling data sets,

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: BA/BS in Economics or Math, or related field with significant coursework in Economics, Math, and Statistics.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Knowledge of statistics/econometrics.
• Knowledge of statistical programming, particularly STATA.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of standard internet tools and HTML.
• Familiarity with standard social science or education-related data sources.
