NVIDIA is seeking an AI Security Researcher for the Agentic Cybersecurity Research team in Seattle. You will conduct novel research to protect AI models, systems, and infrastructure using AI, with emphasis on securing both models and agents.

Requirements include a master's or PhD in a related field or equivalent experience, 5+ years in ML or cybersecurity, strong programming skills, and deep knowledge of AI weaknesses and mitigations, including Generative AI workflows.

NVIDIA's Agentic Cybersecurity Research team is searching for a motivated AI Security Researcher to innovate and improve the protection of AI models, systems, and infrastructure. Our work in Security and AI is globally visible and helps drive the frontier of the whole industry. We are looking for a researcher with hands-on safety and security experience in agents to help us innovate and improve protection of AI models, systems and infrastructure. In this role you will research and develop technology that secures AI and systems using AI.

What you'll be doing:

• Novel and creative research on improving cybersecurity and AI.
• Our work focuses both on using models and agents to improve cybersecurity, as well as securing models and agents.
• Contribute research on new and exciting problems in AI and security.
• The world needs secure systems and needs AI to be safe and secure.
• As stewards of AI, at NVIDIA you will help address the problems in this space.

What we need to see:

• Master's or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience of 5+ years in machine learning, cybersecurity, or closely related fields.
• Shown programming expertise.
• Outstanding knowledge of AI and conventional software weaknesses and mitigation strategies.
• In-depth understanding of Generative AI workflows.
• Self-starter with a passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and sharing findings.
• Motivated and curious about new technologies.
• Ability to present sophisticated technical information clearly.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Tight-knit collaboration skills with a history of successful cross-functional projects.
• Discovered CVEs, built successful tooling.
• Knowledge of adversarial machine learning and techniques to defend against adversarial techniques.
• Experience with secure software development practices.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
