Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, especially Linux OS, networking, and virtualization.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve highly complex issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain UCO virtual machine (VM) infrastructure.
• Provide specialized desktop and server support for research workstations.
• Coordinate complex issues and resource constraints with ITS and PBSci leadership.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure

In-depth knowledge of complex IT areas

Knowledge of firewall, VPN, DNS, and DHCP services

Skills in performing physical system maintenance

Technical leadership skills

Education
