The SARA, Inc. High Power Electromagnetics Division (HPEM) is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Research Engineer with a focus on bioelectromagnetics to join our interdisciplinary team in our Colorado Springs, CO location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the study of electromagnetic fields and their interaction with biological systems. This role requires a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of bioelectromagnetics, applied physics, and related research methodologies. The candidate will contribute to the development of innovative solutions and technologies that advance our understanding and application of electromagnetic principles in various domains including medical devices, health diagnostics, and environmental health. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow and learn with talented engineers, physicists, and technicians on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers. Our small group will allow the candidate to experience, contribute, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary nature from conception all the way through to operation.
The candidate must be a high-performing engineer with a substantial technical pedigree in Bioelectromagnetics and Applied Physics. Candidates must be strong team participants, have excellent communication skills, be resourceful and creative, and be willing to contribute to a multidisciplinary and fast-paced engineering environment.
Salary at SARA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $145,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA’s total compensation package for employees. Positions are on-site, unless indicated otherwise.
