Job summary

Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC, seeks a Research Center Manager to lead administrative management of day-to-day center operations and coordinate multi-project research efforts under faculty leadership.

You will develop strategic plans, budgets, and processes improvements, supervise staff onboarding; ensure compliance with CFR, NIH, OHRP, and related regulations; and report to the Research Center Director.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CFRs including NIH, OHRP, FDA, CDC and OSHA.
• Knowledge of OMB Circulars A-21, A-110, A-133 and federal budgeting.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of science laboratories and facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts and manages research projects within federal and institutional regulations.
• Uses research funds and resources appropriately.
• Maintains confidentiality of data as required.
• Meets all annual job-related training and compliance requirements.
• Plans and manages center performance and controls departmental expenditure.
