Job summary

Westat is seeking a Senior Research Associate to lead tasks supporting CMS’s alternative payment models within CMMI. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and may serve as project manager, task lead, or contributor.

Prior CMS-related health services research experience is preferred, with emphasis on TA and implementation. Preference given to candidates able to work 2 days per week at our Bethesda, MD office or other Westat locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social sciences, public health, public policy, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant TA, implementation and analysis experience; or a Ph.D. in social sciences, public health, public policy, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant TA and analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Create content for and facilitate virtual events including webinars and office hours.
• Develop and deliver tailored technical assistance resources and support.
• Draft memos, reports, tipsheets, tools and other deliverables.
• Support Help Desk operations.
• Track payment model operations using Excel or Smartsheet and report status.
