The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, document results meticulously, and drive continuous improvement in lab methods while contributing to project planning and technical discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or related field.
• Master's degree may be considered with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• 6–8 years of relevant post-college laboratory research experience.
• Hands-on experience with experimental design, laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and scientific troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting assay development, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD).
• Experience training and mentoring junior laboratory personnel.

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting assay development, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) is highly relevant.
• Experience with laboratory process improvement, method optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional technical or project teams.
• Experience presenting experimental procedures, results, and technical recommendations to project teams or stakeholders.
• Prior experience training, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to junior laboratory personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary research environment.
• Commitment to quality, accurate documentation, and reliable execution of laboratory activities.
