Job summary

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and license to practise required.
• Eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
• Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
• Permanent full-time post based in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
• Subspecialist training in reproductive medicine.
• Experience in assisted conception and IVF management.
• Training junior doctors and nursing staff in pelvic ultrasound.
• Recruitment of donors and donor insemination support.

Responsibilities

• Provide reproductive medicine consultancy and IVF care.
• Collaborate with EFC and other disciplines involved in fertility treatment.
• Train junior doctors and nursing staff in pelvic ultrasound.
• Perform pelvic ultrasound scans for complex cases.
• Recruit sperm/oocyte donors and support ovulation induction/donor insemination.
