Job summary

Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Customer Order Management specialist to expedite orders, liaise with sales, field service, inventory and other internal teams to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes preventing issues, handling inquiries via email and phone, generating reports, and supporting front- and back-office functions. Some bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.

Customer Order Management is responsible for expediting orders by acting as a liaison in problem solving, research and problem/dispute resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Takes proactive approach in preventing customer issues
  • Communicates with customers through email, inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Generates customer reports as needed
  • Works closely with Cardinal Health Sales Representatives, Field Service Representatives, Inventory and other internal departments to resolve customer issues
  • Responsible for group mailbox tasks and workflow
  • Participates in and/or leads special projects as designated by leadership
  • Supports both front and back-office functions
