Job summary

Mesabi Metallics is seeking a Manager – Reporting to support DRI project reporting, performance management, and executive updates. You will develop dashboards, consolidate data from engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls, and ensure timely reporting to leadership.

This role requires 8+ years in project reporting on major capital projects, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work across EPC teams in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience supporting project reporting, controls, or performance management on large capital projects.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM project execution.
• Experience in industrial sectors like steel, mining, or energy.
• Strong understanding of schedules, cost reporting, risk tracking, and metrics.
• Proven ability to develop executive dashboards and presentations.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project reporting processes, systems, and standards to support successful DRI project execution
• Prepare and maintain project dashboards, performance reports, and executive-level project updates
• Collect, analyze, and consolidate project information from engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and contractor teams
• Monitor key project performance indicators, including schedule progress, cost performance, risks, milestones, and deliverables
• Support the Project Coordinator – DRI with accurate and timely reporting to project leadership and stakeholders
• Identify trends, risks, and potential issues through analysis of project data and performance metrics
• Coordinate reporting requirements across internal teams, EPC contractors, consultants, and project partners
• Maintain reporting calendars, templates, data repositories, and project documentation standards
• Support project reviews, progress meetings, and leadership presentations with relevant data and insights
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of project information used for reporting and decision-making
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project reporting processes and visibility.
