Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior Transportation Network Design professional to support cost modeling, routing optimization, and fleet strategy. You will work across Legal, Finance, Supply Planning, Sales, Data Analytics and carriers to challenge network constraints and align with business goals.

You will lead cross-functional projects, design standardized processes, and deliver measurable savings while improving speed and reliability of shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or data modeling.
• Expertise with network optimization and analytics tools.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent business writing and communication; able to present data clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Travel expectations: 10%.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service.
• Optimize routing and location strategies with advanced modeling.
• Design, implement, and maintain routing solutions for cost savings.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analyses.
• Apply statistical analysis and optimization techniques to processes.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support contract negotiations.
• Develop new logistics capabilities through standardized processes.
• Build relationships across the enterprise to inform decisions.
