Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to explain QA procedures to internal and external personnel and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier evaluations for nuclear-grade products.
• Lead in resolution of complex problems.
• Provide expertise as a QA engineer in technical areas.
• Resolve supplier quality issues improving design integrity and compliance.
• Perform independent verifications of supplier QMS compliance.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, QA, and Project teams.
• Create certification documents with procurement requirements.
• Lead supplier audits per applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide leadership by example.
• Contribute to solutions for complex project or process challenges.
